SIP Trunk Kenya — +254 Termination & DID Numbers
Nairobi is East Africa's tech and BPO hub, and mobile money has made phone numbers central to Kenyan commerce. Most calls land on 07xx or 01xx mobiles, and both new and old ranges appear in customer data.
Overview
Routing calls to Kenya
Traffic to Kenya leaves our SBCs on more than one upstream carrier per prefix. If a leg toward Nairobi or Mombasa starts returning 503s or long post-dial delay, the next attempt goes to another carrier automatically. Calls to Kisumu, Nakuru and Eldoret follow the same failover logic.
CA sets the Kenya numbering plan, and our prefix tables follow it closely. Supported number types: geographic, mobile and toll-free. Inside the country, numbers are dialled with a 0 trunk prefix. Strip it before you send the call, and send 254 followed by the national number.
Some Kenya number ranges can be activated with basic company details, while others need proof of address. Tell us the city and number type, and we will confirm what is needed before you order.
