Draft — review before publishing. This text is a starting point, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer for your jurisdiction.
Our routes are shared. Abuse by one customer gets numbers blocked and routes filtered for everyone. This policy sets out what is not allowed on SIPTrunkHub.
01Prohibited traffic
- Spam calls, and illegal robocalls or prerecorded calls without the consent the law requires.
- Fraud of any kind, including scams, phishing (vishing) and impersonation.
- Artificially inflated traffic, including IRSF and traffic pumping.
- Wangiri (one-ring) calls and calls designed to trigger callbacks to premium numbers.
- Harassing, threatening or unlawful calls.
02Caller ID
- Send only valid, dialable numbers you own or are authorised to use, in E.164 format.
- Spoofed, unassigned or misleading caller ID is not allowed on any route.
- In the United Kingdom, caller ID must meet Ofcom rules: valid, dialable and identifying the caller.
03United States and Canada
Calls must comply with the TCPA, FCC and CRTC rules, including consent for automated and prerecorded calls, calling-time limits and do-not-call lists. STIR/SHAKEN attestation does not make non-compliant calls lawful. See the United States and Canada pages.
04Outbound campaigns
Lawful outbound campaigns are allowed. You are responsible for consent, calling hours, honouring opt-outs and the telemarketing rules of each destination. We may ask for campaign details before carrying high volumes.
05Enforcement
We may block destinations, limit channels, suspend traffic or close an account without notice where we see a breach or a credible complaint. Balance may be held while we investigate. Fraud may be reported to authorities.
06Reporting abuse
Email [email protected] with the calling number, called number, date and time with timezone, and a short description.
